Analyst Workbench Demo — full-screen grid + widgets
This page is a sheet: the master grid below fills the rest of the screen, and a workbench of movable panels reacts to what you address in it. The charts are inputs too — click a sector bar and the workbench drills in: a breadcrumb (“All ▸ Tech”) appears above the sheet, the ticker chart and the Scope detail rows narrow to the click, and the page URL carries the path, so reloading or sharing the link lands on the same view. Download CSV in the breadcrumb bar takes the rows of the active scope with you.
Click or drag the row-number gutter (the leftmost numbered column) to select rows and feed the selection panels below; drag across the data cells to address a rectangular block for the range panel.
The workbench
The panels below update in place — drag one by its edge, pull a corner to resize, and the arrangement survives every selection change. It also persists in this browser; the toolbar above the panels resets it to the page default, or copies/downloads it as sidecar-ready JSON (authors commit that file next to the page as its default layout).
Two of the charts drill: click a bar in “P&L by sector” and “P&L by ticker” plus “Scope detail” narrow to that sector; click a ticker bar to narrow once more. The breadcrumb above the sheet steps back to any level (browser back works too), and its Download CSV button exports exactly the rows “Scope detail” is showing.
